Residents were asked to what extent they agreed with four statements about the work of the County Commissioners.

Here you can explore how agreement with commissioner activities vary by demographic group.

Key Findings

  • More than one in six respondents opted out of these questions, a higher percentage than any other question set in the survey.
  • There is considerable variation when considering political affiliation.
  • Democrats agreed more that the Commissioners “spend time on things that will help our community” than they did that the Commissioners are transparent, responsive, or accessible.

The Tell Us community survey was administered during June and July 2022. The survey was open to all Mesa County residents (18 years and older) to assess citizen satisfaction and to measure how residents perceived progress on key initiatives, customer service and efficiency of county government, and areas for future growth.
